Volunteer Event: Help HASPC Assemble 100 Packages of Hope
Join the Houston Area Suicide Prevention Coalition as we assemble 100 Packages of Hope, care packages for people who have lost someone to suicide. Each package is put together by hand, with dignity and care, a small way to let a grieving family know they are not alone and that support is available.
Date: Friday, November 13, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: United Way: 50 Waugh Drive, Houston, Texas
When you register, please choose one or more shifts that work for your schedule. No experience is needed. Volunteers will fold boxes, fill folios, add comfort items, write personalized greeting cards, and seal and label each package. Each shift starts with a short orientation, and HASPC staff will be on hand for support. No experience or supplies needed.
Please note that volunteer shifts are only for ages 13 and up.
