Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day, in-depth workshop designed for anyone who wants to feel more prepared and confident in helping someone at risk of suicide. Whether you're a professional, community member, or simply someone who cares, ASIST teaches practical, evidence-based strategies to recognize warning signs, engage in meaningful conversation, and create a safety plan that supports life.
Participants walk away with life-saving skills and the ability to act as a vital connection for someone in crisis. This training is especially valuable for those who are often the first to notice when something is wrong—friends, coworkers, educators, healthcare providers, first responders, and more. In a world where conversations about mental health and suicide can feel intimidating or overwhelming, ASIST gives you the tools and language to show up with clarity, compassion, and hope.
